Web 2.0 Challenge - Week 1.5

I wanted to officially record the whole Week 1 experience. I did complete my Learning Contract and in doing that I decided to just go ahead and go for the InfoPeople Challenge while working with my friends at San Diego County Library. So I'm aiming to finish all "23 Things" before Oct. 19. I admit it - it's fun to go for the prize (flash drive) as well as for the knowledge. The Learning Contract brought mostly to light the obstacle of time - as usual. That will be a main hurdle.

I didn't have any trouble with the podcasts and am intrigued by the possibilities of setups like this for library training. I don't know if this experience will be really enough for the Database Committee to investigate all the training possibilities using Web 2.0, but it will be a start to get us thinking in new directions.

I blogged earlier about the 7 1/2 habits and have saved them on my laptop so that I can refer back to them as a reminder from time to time.

I went ahead a little this week and set up my blog for Week 2. I want to spend some time during the week playing with the formatting and experimenting with a few customizations. Some of the blogs set up by others in the SDCL Challenge are quite intriguing and I want to see if I can figure out how certain looks were achieved.

So on to Week 2!
